Do not make it long. Use bullet points to make a statement. Get to the point quickly and go into detail only enough to know what you actually did.

Example:
- tearing down and assembling jars to company standards while maintaining good quality & quantity
-Responsible for testing dirty jars upon arrival from the field;
-Responsible for carrying out visual inspection of Jars and parts and performing mag particle inspection.
-Trained in maintaining constant alertness for any flaw in parts, recognizing defective parts
-Responsible for steam cleaning and wire brushing all parts; setting torque springs; filling parts with oil
-maintaining an organized work area throughout the shift and for replacing any hand tools to their proper locations
-Responsible for operation of stationary overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads

You have to cut it down, don’t put too much detail. Once you get an interview then you can mention all the extra detail when they ask you questions like "what exactly did you lift with that crane?" and then you explain.

For education, don’t put High School because you went to College and that’s more important.

PostHeaderIcon Who makes a good portable electric generator that burns diesel?

Aside from Northern Lights. I’m already aware.

Yanmar, Onan, Yamaha, Honda, Cummins, Caterpillar, Farymann Marine, Isuzu, Detroit Diesel, Deutz, John Deere, Lister, Mitsubishi, Perkins, Kubota, Volvo, Fiat, Lincoln, Susuki, Kawasaki etc.

And ten thousand Chinese things that apparently you can even get a run named after yourself!

Thats of the top of my head - there are hundreds I have never heard of or just can’t remember right now….

Good luck. Stick to good locally serviced brands for any warranty claims and you can’t go wrong.

PostHeaderIcon Why do my lights flicker with my portable generator?

I live in southern Indiana, and am currently living through an awesome ice storm. Anyway, my parents bought a diesel powered portable generator. It is hooked into the main panel of the house. When you crank it up and turn the lights in the house on, they flicker, as does the TV screen. It has proper voltage on each leg of the 240. I brought my generator over and everything works fine. Any ideas?
It is an All Power Diesel 6700 watt generator. Should be about 6500 watts more than I need to keep two 100 watt light bulbs burning strong!
Runs strong, with no stalling or hiccups.
Its an All-power 6500 watt air cooled diesel generator.

if you hooked another generator to your panel and it worked fine the new generator is the problem. unless you changed the way you hooked it up. in that case look at your connections, closely at the ground for sure
