Perkins diesel generator noise level before re-insulating
Shown here is what my Perkins diesel powered Marathon 15K generator on my ‘82 Wanderlodge sounded like before I completely re-insulated the generator compartment. You will notice that we have already completed the downdraft radiator and fan, plus the swing door modifications.

Oh wow, that’s a pretty good sized one. I can imagine that it would be pretty loud inside the bus if it weren’t insulated enough. From what little I can see of it, the bus looks to be in great shape!

The Generator combination is a Perkins / Marathon 15,000 watt and I have added even more insullation since the video was shot making it even quieter. It is in a ‘82 Bluebird Wanderlodge bus.
