a kubota 3 cylinder diesel engine. d950. with rebuilt head, new gaskets etc. just put a nissan radiator and electric fan on it. welded up the exhaust. built a switch box etc. glowplugs need changing as it takes 30-40 seconds of preheat to get going. temperature in the workshop was -1c so at least it started! fuel tank is an expansion tank from another project. runs well and the smoke does clear but i was getting gassed out and shut it off early. get about 20hp out of it at 2600rpm. likely to be put to use to drive a 3 phase generator, but not sure.sorry about my arm in the way, the vice was looking like it would vibrate off!
